General Terms and Conditions

Entrance/Opening Hours
All venue doors open thirty minutes prior to the show commencing.
Delays may occur due to dramaturgical reasons.
During the festival the ticket counter will be open daily.
The box office will be open at the respective show venue from 19:00.

Admission Fees
Admission fees and ticket prices exclusive VAT.
Tickets can be purchased by mail, by phone, online or at the box office. For organisational reasons discount tickets can only be purchased through the Box Office.

All discount tickets are subject to availability, and where applicable, cannot be
combined with each other. Events beyond the Music Festival Steyr are not included
By purchasing a ticket the visitor accepts the rules of the house of
Music Festival Steyr. Visitors who violate any of these rules will be excluded
from the event.

To minimise disruption to the performers and other members of the audience
every effort will be made to ensure the admission of latecomers within
a suitable break in the performance, this always under the advice of our staff.

The ticket is only valid for a specified seat. If you choose to sit in an
unassigned seat, you will be asked to pay the difference in price, leave the seat
or leave the venue.

Online Sale
Credit cards are welcome. No discounts and concessions are accepted in an online booking. For organisational reasons vouchers are not accepted online.

Performances in The Castle Moat Schloss Lamberg
"All-weather-tickets" (available in all categories). In case performances are cancelled in "The castle moat" or if the performance has to be abandoned within 60 minutes, the holder of an all- weather ticket is entitled to the semi-staged version in Stadttheater Steyr, and the ticket will not be refunded.

"Fair-weather-tickets" (available in all categories) are only valid for performances
in "The Moat". Tickets will be refunded, if the performance is cancelled or is only
possible for less than 60 minutes and transferred to Stadttheater Steyr. The organisers
of the Music Festival will try to ensure the open air performances even in case of
doubtful weather and would like to point out that performances in "The castle moat" will take place regardless of light rainfall. Delays and short breaks may occur. We therefore kindly advise our guests to wear weather proof and warm attire and to refrain from using umbrellas, as not to obstruct stage vision and sound.
The organisers may decide upon moving the venue on the very day of the performance but will do so no later than 18:00.

Changing and returning tickets
Tickets that have been bought or reserved will not be refunded on return or changed. Changes in the ensemble or the programme do not entitle the ticket holder to claim a refund or change of tickets. Fair weather tickets will be reimbursed once the performance has been moved to Stadtheater. Tickets for reimbursement must be sent to Musikfestival Steyr, pa Tourismusverband Steyr, Stadtplatz 27, 4402 Steyr within 14 days after the festival, stating account details (account number, bank number, name of bank,(IBAN for foreign transactions)

Ticket loss
In case of ticket loss a replacement ticket can be issued. A replacement ticket needs to be applied for in writing, stating which category ticket (seat and row) was lost, when and where the ticket was bought (proof of purchase).If a seat is occupied twice the bearer of the replacement ticket takes the seat instead of the holder of the original ticket.

Data Protection Regulations
Personal data received in the process of booking tickets and later alterations are
used and saved only for processing the booking, i.e. processing of reservations, bookings and payments.
In case of a postal delivery the required material is sent to the stated address.
In processing payment the customer has to give his consent as to whether he wishes his personal data to be saved and used for advertising posting during the year.
As a principal, personal data will not be passed on to third parties, neither are credit card details saved.

Domestic authority
The use of mobile phones during performances is not permitted. Without exception, the recording of sight or sound before, during and after the performance is strictly prohibited due to copyright laws. Customers are kindly asked to accept the presence of TV or film production. There is no compensation for visuals made of customers in the process of TV or film recordings. Smoking is only permitted in specially assigned areas. Due to security and fire safety regulations pets are not permitted in the venue area.
Instructions given by the festival and security crew must be followed.
